    1. I kept wondering why Flynn wanted Andy back when Andy was such a childish tool And Andy s family was all overprotective when Flynn really didn t do anything Idk Bad opening, bad reason for leaving Flynn s here begging for forgiveness when it s Andy who was the one I kept thinking was in the wrong. And the 3rd person, present Sooo confusing bc it felt heap hoppy, even tho it wasn t and it really made me skim a lot Not for me at all.

    2. Second chance is one of my favorite themes, and I liked Meg Harding s writing before, which was the main reason for me to request the ARC.Now, I thought the original conflict that made Andrew walk away from the FBI was adequately presented to us readers in the earlier chapters However, the reunion felt a little stiff for me Their conversations felt stilted when it was about that night Plus Flynn seemed to harbor deep upset towards Andrew s walking away from him three years previously So I wasn t [...]

    3. I honestly believe there is a time and place for everything and I honestly believe there is a time and place for every book to be read I hadn t planned on reading this book yet but I was having a really bad day where I picked up three books that failed to grab my attention and then I met Andy.I met Andy and I met Flynn and I was tugged into a lovely romantic story, my first from Meg Harding, and I fell in love. The story is set up in a unique way being that we know Andy and Flynn had been in a re [...]

    4. This didn t work for me at all.The third person present tense was jarring, the time jumps at the beginning made me frustrated and didn t let me get a feel of their relationship.Andy was immature and his mendling family was almost a caricature I found the conflict of the story ridiculous too.Nope, didn t work at all Sorry

    6. REVIEW Scattered Thoughts and Rogue WordsThe Last Favor was my first book by Meg Harding and overall it was good reading Being a fan of second chance at love stories, I couldn t miss this novella, plus I m always looking for new to me authors. The blurb tells you pretty much everything you need to know so I m not going to linger on the plot .First of all what I liked the secondary characters were the winners for me, I like big families like the one of Andrew s, and in the chaos the preparations f [...]

    7. I have to say the title to this book is truly fitting I was really sketacle about this book when it started out as the beginning , the middle , and the end All those where was just small glimpses into the life of Andrew and Flynn I had preconceived judgments of Flynn from those short glimpses and as it turns out I was very wrong about him.At first I thought Flynn was this self absorbed individual that did not think it was necessary to inform his partner both on and off the job as a FBI agent wha [...]

    8. A copy was provided in exchange for an honest review2.5 HeartsThis story was sweet and light Andrew approaches Flynn in a bar one night and they have a one night stand The next day he finds his one night stand in his boss office and is told they are now partners. This story time jumps a bit, so there really isn t any relationship development I was just told that they ended up being partners and lovers, and everything was fine Until Flynn made a secret, strategic move on a case they were on, which [...]

    9. A Joyfully Jay review 3 starsIn this second chance at love story, Andrew is tricked by a former co worker into providing his ex boyfriend and FBI partner hospitality for two weeks During this time, Flynn needs to prove to Andrew that he is worth a second chance but he will also have to deal with Andrew s family who isn t thrilled at his untimely arrival.I really liked the first part of this story where we get to watch Andrew and Flynn meet each other after Andrew s co workers bet him he can t pi [...]

    10. The Last Favor by Meg Harding is a story about a second chance at romance It s a quick, easy read that is mixed with humor, a bit of action, a lot of snark, and some sweet moments The books starts off with a bang, literally since Flynn and Andrew have a one night stand, and things take off from there Meg Harding s writing took a bit to get used to, but once you get past the first few pages, you definitely fall into a rhythm I will say that once we see a bit of Flynn and Andrew in action they re [...]

    11. I love Meg Harding s books because I love how she writes second chance romances with a touch of humor, and this one delivered I thoroughly enjoyed Andy and Flynn s story, and I liked how the novel was structured in the beginning middle end sections, so that we saw enough without coming in with preconceived ideas from their backstory I like stories that sort of start in the middle like this one did, and I always enjoy when authors do new and different things with narrative timelines I loved the s [...]

    12. A second chance doesn t mean anything if you didn t learn from your first Anurag Prakash RayFeeling betrayed by his lover, Andy Wilson, of The Last Favor by Meg Harding, ended their relationship three years ago Andrew was hurt both physically and emotionally by what he considered a lack of faith The only way Andrew could deal with it was to leave Flynn and start over The thing is, he also left his heart behind. When Flynn shows up at his door it s a shock, but Andrew can t turn him away because h [...]

    13. Review can be read at It s About The BookI really liked this book I feel like for a Novella length book I got a whole lot of story The story is split into parts of the MC s relationship The beginning and middle are shorter but give you a good idea of their personalities and problems in their relationship The end Is the longest portion of the book I think it maybe felt a bit choppy at first and I certainly would have liked some of the wholes filled in However, I also felt like the way it was pres [...]

    14. This 125 page novella is made up of two vignette both set in the past, but with chopped information that is needed to set up the body of the book that is set in present day.I have to be honest, I had high hopes for this story, but it really fell flat for me.The first vignette, I call it that because it starts and stops so quickly, and while we get them meeting, there is not much else. Then, the second one takes place about a year later, another snap shot of Andrew and Flynn living together in som [...]

    15. This is a quick read at about the size of a novella If you are looking for a short easy read this will be no problem for you The start of the story is very quick and a bit choppy but it allows you to see how Flynn and Adam meet and how their relationship really started before tragedy and some pig headedness splits them up The two together are rather funny and you can see small glimpses of how well they should work together However you don t get a full feel for how they are as a couple before the [...]

    16. 3.5 starsWhen Andrew unwittingly allows his former partner to crash the family reunion before his wedding, Finn and Andrew have one last chance at a future together.I enjoyed this short romance without ever becoming fully invested in it Finn and Andrew s back story is interesting, but with Andrew narrating the story, readers never see Finn s perspective This exaggerates the misunderstanding that leads to Andrew and Finn s first break up, but it never properly allows readers to understand why And [...]

    17. I enjoyed the story In a few ways I thought Andy s reason for leaving a 7 year relationship was stupid I agree they were both morons I enjoyed the snark between the MC s It was an easy book.

    18. The Last Favor by Meg Harding3.5 starsM M second chance romanceI was given this book for an honest review by Inked Rainbow Reads.Flynn and Andy their story is jumbled and not really about them I found that this had a promising premise, but just didn t deliver for me.While I can understand why Flynn did what he did, but in the end, this story seemed to be a little about Flynn and Andy and mainly about Andy s sister s wedding While I did like that you were able to see how their relationship began [...]

    19. I didn t expect to like this book as much as I did I finished it one sitting and despite two pretty big flaws, The Last Favor was a fantastic read First, I never ever want to read another book written in third person present It s just wrong Second, grown up, intelligent men should not run away without a word of explanation It s very childish and prevents from taking them seriously Otherwise, it s a good book and I do recommend it.

    20. Good read, liked the beginning as well as the progressing story, but no idea what the author wanted to say with the epilogue.Nevertheless, the writing style was engaging and I ll looking forward to reading the next book by this author.

    21. Sweet, but not boringly sweet Both MCs were morons, which they admitted in the book, as they just needed to talk to each other to avoid 3 years of separation.
