    1. This is a quick and exciting read that left me craving the next instalment in the series for even reasons than the first book did.The search for Sebastian continues in Talented and I loved this sequel It was impossible to predict where the story was going to go at the end of Tainted, book 1, and the new book does not disappoint It introduces another unique new world and there are plenty of twists and turns on Elle s journey as she tries to adapt to life on the surface.I also really liked the ne [...]

    2. I really like the story but it is really annoying and frustrating how short these books are and how long will the wait be for the next short book to be released These are like novellas than full blown novels.

    3. OkFirst I want to say that I m still intrigued by this series I m drawn to dystopia and this is definitely dystopia meets X Men, which I tend to enjoy The sheer mystery of this strange world and all of its secrets keeps me interested. It s the characters that drive me insane After reading the first book in the ARC series, I had hoped that Elle would show a bit growth She was so annoying in the first book that I had been on the fence as to whether I should continue the series She seemed so whiny [...]

    4. A very good book 2 of the 4 book seriesI was pleasantly surprised to find book 2 was just as good as the first book This series is not your typical cookie cutter redo of a cliche storyline The writing was well thought out and very well edited.SPOILER ALERT The one part of the book that bothered me a little is when Lara gave herself to the recruiters, then Elle and Sebastian got away and nothing else came from it I would think the recruiters would ve interrogated Lara to find out who the other tw [...]

    10. I anticipated with the storyline a lot than in Tainted and am beginning to develop an affection and sympathy for Elle Winters I like how she s always so determined and resolute and tries to remain level headed whenever she s afraid There are plenty of qualities I admire in Hunter too I love his flirtatiousness, courage, and friskiness his pride and arrogance But most of all I love his selflessness and willingness to help Elle locate Sebastian Hunter, Lara, Sophie, and the others mentioned have [...]

    11. I downloaded the first book in the ARC series, Tainted, for free off of , and I liked it enough that I went ahead and bought this book I m very glad I did.In Talented, we see what goes on after you get taken out of the ARC Without revealing too much, most people on the surface have superpowers of some kind However, Elle doesn t, because she faked her test results and escaped the ARC when she wasn t supposed to And not only that she somehow has to find her friend love interest, Sebastian, in this [...]

    12. Very quick read Good plot, good twist, not predictable 3 stars bc Elle is SO ANNOYING in this book She is as deep as a puddle She has been underground for 15 years and brought to the surface and her every waking thought is of Sabastien She makes new friends and instead of being grateful, she puts them at risk for her never ending babbling about Sabastien It was VERY ANNOYING Never seen the son, sabastien, never seen a tree, sabastien, almost get hit by a car, sabastien, never seen so much food, [...]

    13. I m really enjoying the ARC series Having downloaded Alexandra Moody s generous giveaway, Tainted I just had to find out what happened next to Ellie Winters, who went in search of her friend Sebastian I reached the last page and was frustrated, I wanted to know I m left not knowing what happens next will have to be patient and wait for Fractured, 3rd in the series. An easy pleasant read Not wanting to give too much a way but Talented does keep you guessing.

    14. After reading Tainted I couldn t wait to get stuck into book 2 and Talented did not disappoint me Elle s journey continues to surprise me and I like the character and as the story goes on and she adjusts to the changing world around her I also really liked the new characters that were introduced and can t wait to find out about them I don t want to say too much without giving away spoilers, but Talented is a great second book in the series

    15. Fast read with plenty of excitementI enjoyed part two of this series Faster paced and exciting Still has too many question marks on the end of statements and various sentences where they don t belong, which greatly frustrates the flow of reading for me, but the content did make up for it Off to read book 3
