    1. I read this as a Kindle book It turned out to be a collection of stories set in the small California town of Mckinleyville It was definitely humorous It reminded me of stories set in the South featuring small town redneck people I wouldn t rate it at the same level as Garrison Keillor or Tom Bodett but it was definitely entertaining.

    2. The blurb compares it to the works of Keillor, Bodett my favorite , and McManus It is definitely in the same vein as these writer s works I found it not quite as funny and entertaining as their works, but still well worth reading and quite enjoyable I hope the writer keeps publishing and getting better.
